About the Event

The Kenya Schools & Colleges Film Festival will a hold one-week residential film screening festival at the Tafaria Castle & Center for the Arts. The aim of this festival is to appreciate, enjoy and nurture local film production as we showcase raw talent exposing the learners to the best in the industry.

So far 350 films have been submitted for screening and brings together more than 100,000 students and the Kenyan public both virtually and physically.

For the first time, the screening will be done virtually and at a custom facility and where members of the general public will also engage and rate the films.

The climax of the festival will be marked by a gala event at the end where the best film and performances in various categories will be awarded.
